A year ago, my life looked very different.

I spent my twenties as a software developer for the federal government. This was a career I truly loved and I'm proud to say I received outstanding feedback from every customer I worked with, a reflection of the care, communication, and commitment I brought to every project.​​

​

After several years in cybersecurity, I earned the opportunity to join a public safety drone program. Before I had the chance to step into that role, unexpected health challenges brought everything to an abrupt halt. For the first time in years, I woke up without code to write, problems to solve, or a project to pour myself into. I had to rediscover what gave me purpose.​

​

There's a reason people say pets are there for us through everything. Through life's highest highs and lowest lows, they offer comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. During one of the most difficult periods of my own life, I found that same peace in their company, and it showed me where I truly wanted to invest my time, energy, and heart.

I've experienced the sleepless nights, emergency vet visits, medications, and uncertainty that come with caring for a sick pet. I've also seen the tears, relief, and overwhelming love that fill those moments. It's impossible to go through that without gaining a deep appreciation for the bond between people and their animals.

I've always felt a deep sense of empathy toward animals. They trust us completely, and I believe that's a privilege to be earned. Building Paw & Pillow Care is my opportunity to devote my work to earning that trust every day.​

I don't just want to build a pet care business, I want to continually raise the standard of what great pet care feels like. Whether that's creating new adventures for dogs, developing better ways to stay connected while you're away, or finding new ways to enrich your pet's life, my goal is always the same: to create the best pet care experience possible.​​
